Cathy Ratcliff

Cathy Ratcliff serves as the Chief Executive Officer of EMMS International since July 2019, following a tenure as Director of International Programmes since 2012. EMMS International is recognized as Scotland's international healthcare charity. Prior to this, Cathy Ratcliff held leadership roles with various organizations from April 1992 to August 2019, including a significant position at Mercy Corps Scotland, where institutional grants were expanded from £200,000 to £8 million annually. Education includes a Ph.D. in Russian Studies from the University of Edinburgh and an M.Sc. in Social and Public Policy, also from the University of Edinburgh. Early career experience includes a role as Central and Eastern Europe Programme Manager at Aldus Europe Limited, leading the localization of software into multiple languages.
