Aaron Morton Dmsc

Aaron Morton DMSc, PA-C, ATC, FAPACVS serves as the Editor in Chief at the Journal of the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery since September 2021 and has held the position of Physician Assistant - Lead Affiliate Provider at Emory University Hospital since October 2017. In this role, Aaron leads a team of Critical Care Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, providing care in a large Cardiovascular ICU. Experience includes working as Vice President for the Cardiac Surgery Advanced Life Support Course North America, contributing to the development of cardiac arrest training programs. Previous positions include Cardiac Surgical Physician Assistant at University of Louisville Physicians and Physician Assistant in Cardiovascular Surgery at Indiana University Health. Aaron holds a DMSc in Administrative Medicine from the University of Lynchburg, an MMSc from Emory University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
