Elizabeth Chechila

Elizabeth (Caine) Chechila, PMP has a diverse work experience. Elizabeth started their career at Altec in 2010, where they held roles as a Manufacturing Engineer and later as a Master Plant Scheduler. In these roles, they led teams in Kaizen events, resulting in significant annual savings and increased productivity. Elizabeth also played a key role in product design and customer engagement. In 2015, Elizabeth joined Emory University Hospital, where they held various positions including Management Engineer III and Manager of Operations Improvement. In these roles, they facilitated the implementation of software systems and coordinated process improvement projects to enhance patient flow and increase capacity. Elizabeth also led a team that successfully improved the discharge rate. Elizabeth currently serves as the Director of Patient Care Services and Operations at Emory University Hospital.

Elizabeth (Caine) Chechila, PMP completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech from 2006 to 2010. In addition, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2019.
