Emory Impact Investing Group
Jaewon Ahn is currently serving as a Field Artillery Soldier (13B) with the US 8th Army Korean Augmentation to the United States Army since January 2024. Prior to this role, Jaewon worked as a Business Analyst at Atlas Consulting Group at Emory University and as a Market Research Analyst at Research and Investment Securities at Emory, both from August 2023 to January 2024. Additionally, Jaewon gained experience as a Venture Capital Analyst Intern at RedWave Ventures from May to August 2023 and as a Marketing Intern for the Tiger Global Case Competition organized by Tiger Global Management in the summer of 2021. Jaewon is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Strategy and Management Consulting and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Emory University, expected to graduate in 2026, having completed earlier education at Taipei American School from 2019 to 2022.

Emory Impact Investing Group
Founded in 2014, Emory Impact Investing Group (EIIG) is Emory University's only undergraduate student-run impact investing organization. Our mission is to provide microloans to local entrepreneurs who lack access to capital. We aim to close the microbusiness gap in traditionally high poverty areas by increasing the number of successful small businesses. We direct our efforts in pursuit of this goal by providing early-stage financing, knowledge, and networks necessary for the sustainable growth of a business.
