Emory Impact Investing Group
Yufan Wu is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Emory University, expected to graduate in 2026. Yufan's experience includes roles as a Junior Analyst at Emory Impact Investing Group and a Business Development Consultant at Sellside Group, LLC, both starting in September 2023. Additionally, involvement as a Teacher Assistant at Emory University - Goizueta Business School and as a member of the Academic Committee for the Emory Chinese Student Association has been ongoing since August and April 2023, respectively. A former Summer Analyst at Sage Succession and Private Equity Intern at CloudStreet Partners LLC, Yufan also coordinated events for the Emory Chinese Theater Club from September 2022 to May 2023. Yufan's educational background includes a high school diploma from Flint Hill School and a middle school diploma from Beijing Royal School.
Emory Impact Investing Group
Founded in 2014, Emory Impact Investing Group (EIIG) is Emory University's only undergraduate student-run impact investing organization. Our mission is to provide microloans to local entrepreneurs who lack access to capital. We aim to close the microbusiness gap in traditionally high poverty areas by increasing the number of successful small businesses. We direct our efforts in pursuit of this goal by providing early-stage financing, knowledge, and networks necessary for the sustainable growth of a business.
