Catherine Murari-Kanti

Catherine Murari-Kanti, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in technology transfer and intellectual property management with significant experience in academia. Currently serving as a Senior Licensing Associate at Emory University, Catherine manages a portfolio of over 300 technologies, evaluating their novelty and commercial potential while making investment recommendations. Previously, at UNeMed Corporation, Catherine worked as a Licensing Specialist, where responsibilities included assessing new inventions, negotiating licensing agreements, and training stakeholders on intellectual property rights. Catherine's background also includes roles in content writing, teaching, and clinical data management. Academically, Catherine holds a Ph.D. in Cancer Research from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Creighton University, and a Bachelor's in Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai.
