Dehanza (Daye) Rogers is an accomplished filmmaker and educator with extensive experience in directing and producing. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Director of Production at Emory University since July 2019, Rogers previously held a role as an Assistant Professor at Cornell University from July 2016 to June 2019. In addition to academic roles, Rogers has worked as a director and producer since January 2015 and has produced videos for Google at Adecco. Significant works include directing "Sweet, Sweet Country" and "The Youth," both exploring profound societal themes. Rogers possesses dual Master of Fine Arts degrees from UCLA in Directing and Film/Video Production, and Cinematography, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from California State University, Northridge.
