Dewan Muhammad Shoaib

Dewan Muhammad Shoaib is currently a PhD student at Emory University since August 2023. Previously, from December 2019 to July 2023, Dewan held multiple roles at icddr,b, including Research Investigator and Senior Research Officer, where notable achievements included conducting a multi-country evaluation on disability and aging in the COVID-19 HBCC program and authoring several manuscripts. Key responsibilities involved planning and implementing research activities, developing proposals, leading data teams, and mentoring staff. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Officer in Monitoring at BRAC, guiding several program evaluations, and an internship at Transparency International Bangladesh focused on data collection and analysis. Dewan holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University.
