Robert Jarman

Summer Undergraduate Research Experience at Emory University

Robert Jarman is a dedicated computer science researcher currently working at Emory University within the Cognition and Visualization Lab, focusing on data analytics and visualization research related to Spotify data. In addition to research, Robert holds several leadership roles including Social Chair of the Outdoor Emory Leadership Committee and serves as an Emory Student Ambassador, enhancing campus engagement and prospective student outreach. As a Sophomore Advisor, Robert supports first-year students' transition to college life while being actively involved in various student organizations, including Fencing Club and Brotherhood of Afrocentric Men. Previous experience includes roles at Storage Scholars LLC, Chick-fil-A, and tutoring at PeerLink, alongside multiple roles at Emory University that contribute to community building and operational efficiency. Robert is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Business Administration at Emory University, complemented by international educational experiences in Spain.
