Robert M. Franklin Jr. is currently a Senior Adviser to the President at Emory University. Franklin has a long and distinguished career in academia. Robert was previously a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University from January 2013 to November 2013. From July 2007 to December 2012, they served as President of Morehouse College. Prior to that, they were on the faculty at Emory University, where they served as Presidential Distinguished Professor from July 2004 to June 2007.

Franklin earned a BA in political science and government from Morehouse College.
