Shannon Clute

Shannon Clute is an accomplished communications, marketing, and public relations professional with extensive experience in higher education and the media industry. As Senior Director of Communications, Marketing, and PR for Emory Libraries and Carlos Museum since October 2019, Clute also serves as the inaugural Director of The Hatchery at Emory, having established a center for innovation and entrepreneurship that significantly impacts the university community. Previous roles include Senior Director of Brand and Communications at Cornell University, and various leadership positions at Turner Broadcasting System, where Clute was instrumental in business development, marketing strategy, and content management. Clute's academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.A. in Romance Languages from Cornell University, with earlier teaching positions at Saint Mary's College and the University of Kentucky.
