Zoe Hughes

Undergraduate Student Researcher at Emory University

Zoe Hughes is an undergraduate at Emory University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts, expected to graduate in May 2024. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Emory University, Zoe has contributed to significant research on astrochemical spectral trends and pediatric leukemia therapies. In addition to research, Zoe holds leadership positions as Vice President of Creative Programming for Art for Heart, and as a committee member for both the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee of the PHI Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity and the Race, Ethnicity, and Culture in Health Committee of the American Medical Student Association. Previous experience includes tutoring English for professionals in Asia, serving as a File Clerk/Paralegal at Hughes Law Firm, and participating in community outreach roles such as Voter Registrar and Census Outreach Coordinator for the New Mexico Asian Family Center.
