Lead AI Engineer at emotion3D

Marc Javin has a diverse work experience. Marc currently works as a Lead AI Engineer at emotion3D since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Deep Learning Engineer at the same company from October 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining emotion3D, Marc worked as a Researcher at the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP) from November 2018 to July 2019.

In 2018, Marc was at Technische Universität Wien, where they completed their Master's thesis on developing a hybrid optimization suit for biological neural networks using Tensorflow. Marc also worked as a Data Analysis Tutor during the same period.

In 2017, Marc served as a Maths Tutor at Technische Universität Wien, where they conducted exercise sessions in German for groups of around 50 students. Marc was also employed as a Developer at Ds Automotion Gmbh for a brief period.

In 2016, Marc gained research experience as a Research Intern at University College Dublin (UCD), where they worked on emotion recognition for Microsoft Skype using machine learning and computer vision algorithms.

Earlier in their career, Marc served as a Tutor at INSA Lyon, providing private lessons in Maths and Physics to groups of students. Marc also worked as a Development Intern at ADSIB in Bolivia, where they designed and implemented a social network monitoring system.

In 2013, Marc did a one-month labor internship at Algodonera Paso Viejo, which provided him with international exposure and the opportunity to learn Spanish.

Marc Javin earned a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from Technische Universität Wien between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, studying from 2012 to 2017. In their earlier education, they completed high school at Lycée de la Plaine de l'Ain à Ambérieu en Bugey from 2009 to 2012, specializing in Sciences de l'Ingénieur with a focus on mathematics and a European German section. In addition to their academic achievements, Marc Javin also obtained the TOEIC certification with a score of 940/990 from ETS in May 2016.
