Bernard Bucher has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Bernard began their career at Groupe PSA in 1990, where they worked as an Engines and Components Analyst until 1993. From 1994 to 1995, Bernard served as an Analyst in the field. Bernard then became a Project Officer for International Components (Iran, China) from 1995 until 2008. During this time, they also took on the role of Team Manager of Powertrain Analysis, leading a team of 14 individuals and overseeing engine and component analysis. In 2015, Bernard transitioned to the position of Mechanical Analysis Engineering Team Manager at Groupe PSA, a role they held until 2021. From 2019 to 2021, they additionally served as a Mechanical Analysis Engineering Team Manager specializing in Thermal, Electric Motors, and Mechanical Gearboxes. In 2019, Bernard joined Stellantis as a Quality Engineering Manager, focusing on the same areas. Currently, as of September 2022, they work as a Quality Engineering Manager at Emotors.
Bernard BUCHER attended Lycée technique Talange from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained their Brevet de technicien automobile technique et services degree. Bernard then pursued further education at Lycée du Hainaut Valenciennes from 1987 to 1989, earning a BTS in exploitation des véhicules à moteur with a specialization in System d'antiblocage de roues.
