Julien Masfaraud

Julien Masfaraud has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Julien started at Valeo Electrical Systems in 2003 as an R&D engineer, responsible for the design and validation of different products. Julien then became a project manager, overseeing the development of alterno-starters and managing a team of 5 people. In 2011, they joined Renault Sport F1 as a Chef de Service Conception, leading the design of high-voltage engine parts for Formula 1 cars, managing a team of 12 people. Since 2018, Julien has been the Head of the Design Department at Nidec PSA emotors, where they oversee multi-physics design and manages the electronics and mechanical design office.

Julien Masfaraud completed their education from 1999 to 2002 at Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC). Julien obtained a degree in Ingénieur with a specialization in Génie mécanique, focusing on électrotechnique.
