Mechanical Design Engineer at Emotors

Michel Thirion has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michel began their career at Groupe PSA in 1995 as a Technicien secteur automobile, where they worked until 1999. Michel then progressed to the role of Dessinateur projeteur at Groupe PSA, where they were responsible for the CAD design of complex engine parts, including 3D modeling, drafting, and dimensioning activities. Additionally, they supervised the planning of activities and collaborated with suppliers and partner companies. In 2005, they became a Dessinateur projeteur - Pilote CAO et référent en cotation ISO, leading the deployment of Catia V5 CAD methodologies for engine parts and coordinating the application of ISO dimensioning standards. Michel also managed the conversion of Catia V4 to V5 for internal engine parts. From 2012 to 2017, they held the position of Responsable conception composant at Groupe PSA, overseeing component design and guiding the development of generic models. More recently, Thirion joined Emotors in 2019 as a Winding design engineer and subsequently became a Mechanical Design Engineer. The duration of their roles at Emotors is not specified.

Michel Thirion completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Technique from Lycée Henri Nomine in 1990-1991. Following that, they pursued further studies at IUT de Villers lès Nancy from 1992 to 1993, where they obtained a DUT degree in Mechanics and Production.
