Myrna Ackerman

Myrna Ackerman has extensive experience in the field of mental health and social work. Myrna has served as a Clinical Coordinator and Family Therapist at La Frontera Arizona - Empact SPC since July 2003. Prior to that, Myrna was a Social Worker at Tempe Community Action Agency and a Social Services Coordinator/Advocate at Maricopa County Head Start Program. Myrna holds multiple Master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling, School Guidance Counselor, Human Relations, and Educational Counseling. Myrna specializes in crisis intervention, trauma, parenting, and gender identity issues, and has a strong background in providing housing assistance, relocation assistance, and case management.
