Daniel Deems

Daniel Deems, MD PhD, currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Empath Health and is a member of the Board of Trustees for both Tidewell Hospice and the Empath TideWell Foundation. With a diverse background in healthcare, Daniel co-founded FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers and has held leadership roles including Co-Founder and CEO of University Hearing Systems and Founder & President of University ENT Associates. Daniel has extensive academic experience as a Clinical Associate Professor at Florida State University and as a Research Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Educational credentials include an MD from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Physiological Psychology from UCLA, along with fellowships from the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American College of Surgeons.
