Laura Mosby

Laura Mosby, LCSW, is the Vice President of Compliance and Health Information Management for Empath Health. She serves as the organization’s Chief Compliance Officer. Laura’s hospice experience includes developing and directing children’s bereavement programs and directing an annual children’s grief camp, directing spiritual care, psychosocial and bereavement programs, and serving as a regional clinical director for hospice programs and interdisciplinary teams. Prior to her 29-year career in hospice, Laura worked with children and adolescents in psychiatric hospitals. Laura has also served as adjunct faculty with the Department of Gerontology and School of Social Work at the University of South Florida. Laura is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University. Laura is a certified Hospice Administrator. She participates on several national hospice committees and actively engages in advocacy for hospice patients and providers.
