David Goehner

David Goehner has over three decades of experience in the field of employee assistance programs and counseling. Currently serving as Director of EAP Operations and Privacy Officer at Empathia, Inc. since July 1990, David is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of all EAP operations, and holds certifications as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional and Certified Wellness Coach. Prior to this role, David worked as a Counselor at Discovery & Recovery Clinic from May 2001 to May 2006, specializing in individual, relationship, and family counseling, and co-authored a court-mandated parenting education course. Additionally, David served as an Adjunct Instructor in General Education at Gateway Technical College from September 1984 to May 1996, primarily teaching Introduction to Psychology and Abnormal Psychology. David holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
