Ivan Cenci

Ivan Cenci is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the technology and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as General Manager at Empatica since October 2012, Ivan has held multiple roles including Head of Production, Product Development Manager, and Data Scientist. Previous experience includes an internship at Baylor College of Medicine where Ivan contributed to a technology transfer process for a telemedicine device and supported a clinical study on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Additionally, a research visit at the University of Oxford involved developing a mathematical model of cardiac cell electro-mechanical activity, with results presented at an international conference. Ivan holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Alta Scuola Politecnica and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, complemented by executive education from Harvard Business School.
