EmpatiQ builds AI that behaves like a real person under emotional pressure — so crisis negotiators, law enforcement, and clinical professionals can practice the highest-stakes conversations of their careers before facing them for real.

Under the hood is an emotion engine: a computational model of how human emotions emerge, blend, decay, and escalate, grounded in Plutchik's psychoevolutionary theory, Damasio's somatic marker hypothesis, and computational neuroscience.

From a single configurable codebase, the engine powers products across high-stakes verticals — training simulations for crisis negotiation, law enforcement, and human services, and AI-assisted workspace and supervision tools for practicing professionals. Each product combines the same engine with domain-specific methodology and field knowledge.

EmpatiQ was founded in 2026 by Vitalii Bakun and Aleksandra Bakun. Vitalii is an MD (radiology) with a decade of healthcare IT solution architecture. Aleksandra is an MD with emergency care and transplant coordination experience, trained in CBT; she leads clinical design and holds every product to real practitioner standards.

EmpatiQ operates under S3P Solutions Inc., a Delaware C-corporation, with the team based in Kyiv, Ukraine.
