Ryan Cannady

Ryan Cannady serves as the Chief Retail Officer at Empeople Credit Union since October 2013, focusing on creating a thriving environment for motivated employees while overseeing various member service initiatives including marketing, lending, and financial wellness. Prior roles include Vice President of Sales and AVP of Mortgage Sales at DECU, where Ryan played a key role in developing sales strategies. At American Bank & Trust, Ryan excelled as a Real Estate Lending Consultant, consistently ranking among the top originators. Previous experience also includes a managerial position at Wells Fargo Financial, where Ryan led sales teams, and an internship at Maytag Corporation. Ryan holds a B.A. in Biology and Secondary Education from Knox College, and has completed multiple executive education programs, including those at Cornell University and The Wharton School.
