Luciano Pesci, PhD

Luciano Pesci, PhD has been working in the field of data science since 2010. Luciano began their career as an Instructor of Economics, Statistics & Research Methods, and American Economic Development & History at the University of Utah. During this time, they also co-founded and served as the Director of Research for the Utah Community Research Group, a research organization for undergraduate and graduate students. In 2016, they took on the role of Adjunct Professor of Data Science at Westminster College. In 2018, they became the Chief Data Science Learning Officer at Blockchain Training Alliance and the Chief Data Officer at FreeRange. Luciano currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Emperitas.

Luciano Pesci earned their PhD in Economics from the University of Utah in 2018. Luciano also earned a MA in Economics from the University of Utah in 2011 and a HBA and BS in History and Political Science, respectively, from the University of Utah in 2008.
