Emperor Akbar Cardamom is the flagship brand of Samex India Pvt. Ltd., the leading processor and largest exporter of premium green cardamom from India. Backed by over 45 years of legacy and trusted expertise, we have evolved from a traditional family business into a global industry pioneer exporting to over 25 countries.

Historically, cardamom was exported unbranded, losing its vital aroma and potency in transit. Emperor Akbar revolutionized the agricultural export market by introducing the world’s first Aroma-Lock packaging technology, creating a new industry benchmark for quality retention. Today, our grading standards are recognized as the blueprint for the industry.

Key Milestones & Accreditations:
• Recognized Industry Leader: Awarded the 'Largest Exporter of Green Cardamom' by the Spices Board of India (Ministry of Commerce).
• Three-Star Export House: Certified by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade for consistent, high-volume excellence in international trade.
• GI Tag Certified: Officially certified with the Geographical Indication (GI) tag for Alleppey Green Cardamom, ensuring unmatched oil content, rich aroma, and premium quality.

Headquartered in Mumbai with a strategic regional office in Tamil Nadu, we are committed to providing reliable sourcing, rigorous grading, and efficient global supply chains.
