Armin Reinert

Armin Reinert has a diverse background in data science and analytics. Armin is currently working at Empik Group as the Head of Data Science, a role they started in June 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Data Science Lead at Empik Group from May 2021 to July 2023. Armin also worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Empik Group from July 2020 to May 2021. Armin Reinert served as a Lecturer at Wroclaw University of Economics starting from October 2020.

Before joining Empik Group and Wroclaw University of Economics, Armin Reinert worked at McKinsey & Company. Armin served as a Senior Data Scientist from December 2019 to July 2020, where they supported various studies as a Data Science Consultant. In this role, they provided data insights, visualizations, and built data pipelines, among other responsibilities. Armin also worked as a Fellow in Data Science from July 2018 to December 2019 and as a Junior Data Analyst from November 2017 to June 2018 at McKinsey & Company.

Previously, Armin Reinert gained experience as a Junior Data Scientist and completed a thesis internship at Pointlogic, a Nielsen Company, from February 2017 to October 2017. Armin also completed an internship at Sitech in June 2015 and held an intern position at IBM in September-October 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Junior Research Analyst intern at McKinsey & Company from October 2014 to February 2015 and as a student researcher at Hans-Böckler-Stiftung (IMK) in July 2014. Armin Reinert obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economic Analysis from Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, completing their studies from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended LO nr XIV im. Polonii Belgijskiej we Wrocławiu from 2009 to 2012, but their degree and field of study were not specified. Later, Armin pursued a Master's degree in Econometrics and Management Science at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they studied from 2015 to 2017.
