Jacek Borzykowski

Jacek Borzykowski has held various roles in the technology and software development industry. Jacek is currently working at Empik Group as the Digital Content Technology Division Director since April 2023. Prior to that, they were the Digital Content Technology Division Manager at the same company from September 2020 to March 2023.

Before joining Empik Group, Jacek worked at Aviva Poland as an Enterprise Architect from April 2020 to August 2020, and as a Solutions Architect from June 2019 to March 2020.

Jacek also has experience at Wydawnictwa Szkolne i Pedagogiczne (WSiP) as a Software Development Team Manager, where they were responsible for managing and developing a team of up to 10 people and implementing IT systems architecture from October 2018 to March 2019.

Prior to that, Jacek worked at DreamLab as an IT Manager in the Vertical Portals Department, where they were responsible for managing development teams and creating and supporting vertical portals belonging to the Onet group from September 2015 to March 2018. Jacek was also a Team Leader and Systems Designer at DreamLab from June 2014 to August 2015.

Jacek's earlier experience includes roles at RINGIER AXEL SPRINGER Polska Sp. z o.o. as a Team Leader/Coordinator Developer and Senior Software Developer, Axel Springer Polska as a Software Developer, eTel Polska as an ASP/SQL Programmer, and Teleperformance Poland as a Database Programmer.

Throughout their career, Jacek has gained experience in software development, team management, architecture implementation, and solutions design in various industries.

Jacek Borzykowski obtained their Magister inżynier (Mgr inż.) degree in Applied Computer Science from Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki Stosowanej i Zarządzania WIT w Warszawie. Jacek studied at this institution from 1998 to 2003, specializing in the field of applied computer science.
