Rafael Aregger

Rafael Aregger is an experienced investment professional with a focus on residential real estate. In the role of Head of Investments US at Empira Group since August 2021, Rafael manages a development portfolio comprising three urban high-rise projects with a total of 765 apartments in Miami and Dallas, as well as a value-add portfolio of nine properties in the Midwest. Prior to Empira Group, Rafael worked at Swiss Prime Site in Corporate Ventures, co-founded the PropTech startup Property Square, and held positions in private equity investments at Partners Group and asset management at J.P. Morgan. Rafael's academic credentials include a Master's in Finance with a focus on Corporate Finance from IE Business School and a Bachelor's in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Economics from SMU Cox School of Business.
