Maya Milana

Maya Milana has an extensive work experience in various roles within the music industry.

Maya started their career at Swank PR/Publishing in 2012 as a Jr. Publicist, where they developed campaign plans, cultivated relationships, and coordinated events.

From 2014 to 2016, they worked at The AAllen PR Group as a Public Relations Coordinator, where they developed brand campaigns, drafted marketing materials, and built relationships with media and brands.

Maya then joined The Blaine Group, Inc. as an Executive Assistant/Account Executive, where they provided support to the CEO, wrote media pitches, and organized promotional materials.

In 2018, Maya worked as an A&R Coordinator at Kimloch Music Group, where they worked with music brands and artists, managed calendars, and oversaw content strategy.

In 2019, they became an Executive Assistant/Brand Coordinator at 4thMVMT, where they provided admin support, managed expenses, and coordinated logistics for events.

Maya then joined Red Bull Records as an A&R Coordinator/Executive Assistant, where they provided support to the SVP of A&R and the Managing Director of the label.

From 2020 to 2022, they worked at Kofi Music/Jvngle Music Group as a PR Manager/Project Manager, overseeing projects, tracking tasks, proofreading documents, and coordinating communications.

Currently, Maya Milana is working at EMPIRE as an Artist Management for Joe Moses.

Maya Milana completed their education in a chronological order, beginning with an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies from Guilford Technical Community College, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Maya then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Broadcast Journalism/Public Relations at Columbia College Chicago from 2010 to 2012, where they also completed a minor in their field of study. Finally, Maya obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Columbia College Chicago between 2012 and 2013.
