Maia Younes is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in program coordination and assistance within the fields of disability advocacy and refugee services. Currently serving as a Program Coordinator for the Disability Advocacy Program at Empire Justice Center since November 2022, Maia previously held the position of Program Assistant at Journey's End Refugee Services, Inc., where responsibilities included managing data collection and training staff in grant reporting requirements. Maia's background also includes roles as a Legal Assistant and Refugee Resettlement Facilitator, where skills in operational support, community outreach, and client services were developed. Currently pursuing a degree at the School of Public Affairs, American University, Maia is committed to enhancing the welfare of underserved populations.
