Remla Parthasarathy is an experienced professional in the field of domestic violence and legal advocacy, currently serving as Project Leader for the Crime Victims Legal Network at Empire Justice Center since June 2015. With a diverse background, Remla has operated as an Independent Consultant and Professional Trainer since 2013, developing and presenting training on various topics related to intimate partner violence and domestic violence responses. Academic roles include Adjunct/Senior Lecturer at Daemen College and Niagara University, as well as Clinical Instructor at SUNY Buffalo Law School, where critical concepts of social justice and violence against women were taught. Earlier experience includes coordinating domestic violence programs and providing legal representation for victims. Remla holds a JD from the University at Buffalo and a Certificate in Advanced Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell's School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
