Raiza Areas

Raiza Areas has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Raiza started their career at ProTranslating in 2010 as a Sales and Marketing Representative, where they worked until 2014. In 2014, they gained experience as an Event Management Intern at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants.

From 2015 to 2016, Raiza worked as a Junior Catering Sales Manager at Specialty Restaurants Corporation - Rusty Pelican Miami. Raiza then advanced to the role of Catering Sales Manager from 2016 to 2018. In this role, they managed the sales process for each event, generating significant revenue and securing numerous clients.

In 2018, Raiza joined Faena Group as a Sales Executive, where they worked until 2019. Raiza then moved to Think Hospitality as a Sales Manager from 2019 to 2020.

Currently, Raiza is serving as the Director of Operations at Empire Medical Training, a position they have held since October 2020.

Raiza Areas received an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Miami Dade College, which they completed between 2013 and 2015. Raiza then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel Lodging and Event Management at Florida International University from 2015 to 2017. Raiza also holds a certification called "Cvent Supplier Network Student Certification" from Cvent, although the exact date of obtaining the certification is not provided.
