Maria Dapontes-Dougherty

Maria Dapontes-Dougherty has over three decades of experience in sales, primarily as a Wine & Spirits Sales Associate at Empire Merchants since 1985. Maria served as President of the District 30 Presidents' Council from 2002 to 2008, leading a council comprising the Presidents of PTA's from all 36 public elementary and middle schools in District 30, Queens. Prior to joining Empire Merchants, Maria worked as a Sales Representative at The Charmer Sunbelt Group from 1985 to 2007. Educationally, Maria completed graduate courses in Communications at Hunter College and earned a BA in Communications from Queens College.
