Max Scharlat is an experienced sales representative currently working at Empire Merchants since October 2022. Prior to this role, Max served as a Service/Bar Management Trainee at Southward Ho Country Club, where responsibilities included customer service, bartending, and event execution. As the Fundraising Chair for Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Max developed fundraising strategies. An internship at Garlic Knot/Dom Carusos Italian Restaurant involved a Capstone Senior Project at Syracuse University, focusing on menu costing and restaurant concept development. Earlier experience includes positions as a Prep Cook at Bocaccini’s and Assistant Kitchen Manager at Chipotle Mexican Grill. Max holds a degree in Culinary Arts from Syracuse University, complemented by training at Western Suffolk BOCES.
