In addition to current production from wellbores, Empire maintains leases held by production through some of the most prolific acreage in the (~48,000 acres) Permian Central Basin Platform, (~20,000 acres) in the ND/MT Williston Basin, multi-stacked pay zones (Wilcox and Cockfield formations) found in central Louisiana and (~30,000 acres) in the East Texas basin including Woodbine, Eagle Ford and Buda-Rose plays.
