Anthony Costa

Anthony Costa has extensive experience in the banking industry. Anthony served as Chairman & Co-CEO at Empire State Bank starting in 2003. Prior to that, they were President & CEO at Atlantic States Financial Corp. from February 1994 to June 2001.

Anthony Costa attended Ithaca College from 1961 to 1964, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. Prior to that, from 1956 to 1959, they attended Newburgh Free Academy and also pursued their undergraduate studies at Ithaca College, eventually completing the National Association of State and Municipal Bankers (NASMB) program in collaboration with Brown University Graduate School of Banking. Again, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, specializing in Accounting.
