Tom Knapp

Tom Knapp has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. Tom began their career as an options trader and later transitioned into business analysis. In 1999, they joined Xpedior as a business analyst, where they worked with clients to understand business needs and develop business process flows that improved productivity. In 2002, they joined Sears Holdings Corporation as the Chief Financial Officer for the Tools Business Unit. As CFO, Tom was responsible for reducing unproductive inventory, increasing selling margin, and improving productivity of marketing and promotional expenses. In 2012, they joined Empire Today as the Chief Financial Officer.

Tom Knapp holds an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management with a focus in Finance, Marketing, and eCommerce. Tom also holds a BS from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Finance. In addition, they are certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and by the State of Illinois as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Tom is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) through the CFA Institute.

They are on a team with Paul Carter - Chief Procurement Officer, Gina Cielocha - Senior Vice President, Marketing, and Peter Korda - Executive Vice President, Customer Delivery. Tom Knapp reports to Keith Weinberger, CEO.
