Louie Fielding has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 as a Mechanical Engineer at Intel, where they were responsible for mechanical enclosure and thermal design of the Intel Personal Health System. Louie later co-founded Simpirica Spine in 2007 and served as the Director of R&D, responsible for product development, biomechanical research, and managing the intellectual property portfolio. In 2015, Fielding became the COO and Co-Founder of Empirical Spine, leading operations to re-launch the LimiFlex Paraspinous Tension Band and successfully raising Series A financing for an FDA study. Alongside these roles, they were also the owner of Tahoe Labs LLC and served as a Board of Directors member for Meeks Bay Fire Protection District starting in 2021.
Louie Fielding obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. Louie attended this institution from 1996 to 2001. Following their undergraduate studies, Louie pursued further education at Stanford University, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2003 to 2004.
