Brandon Gonzalez began their work experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Scripps Research Institute in Juan Carlos de la Torre's Lab in October 2016. There, they assisted in researching potential vaccines for Arenaviridae, mainly LCMV, by conducting experiments utilizing light microscopy, western blots, and biochemical assays. Brandon continued in this role until June 2017.
In September 2017, Brandon returned to The Scripps Research Institute as an Undergraduate Research Assistant.
