Omri Gottesman

Omri Gottesman has a diverse background in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Omri is currently the CEO of Empirico Inc., a venture-backed therapeutics company that utilizes biological datasets and human genetics for target discovery and development. Prior to their current role, they held positions at various organizations such as the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where they served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine and later as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. During their time at Mount Sinai, they were responsible for structuring EHR data, conducting genotype-phenotype association analyses, and developing a genomics-focused clinical decision support system. Omri also worked as the Head of Clinical Informatics at the Regeneron Genetics Center, where they led the modeling and harmonization of clinical data, electronic phenotyping, and data mining.
