Brent L.

Brent L. currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Emplifi, a role commenced in January 2023, following an extensive career in information security leadership. Previously, Brent held the CISO position at Bluecore from February 2018 to December 2022 and was the VP of Information Security/CISO at CWT for a brief tenure in 2017. Experience includes significant roles at Digital River, where Brent served as Vice President and CISO, building a robust security practice, and at United Health Group, overseeing various security functions and leading vulnerability management efforts. Brent is also recognized for founding Apex Technologies, Inc., one of the first Application Security companies, and has held various technical roles early in their career. Brent's educational background includes studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1992 to 1996.
