Cathy Richard

Cathy Richard has a diverse range of work experience. Cathy began their career as a Quality Engineer at Dayton Walther Corporation in 1993, where they implemented statistical process control initiatives and served as the primary quality resource for new process and equipment startups. Cathy then went on to work at General Motors as a Quality Supervisor and Motor Vehicle Safety Standards Coordinator, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and training new production supervisors.

In 1996, Cathy joined UnitedHealthcare as a Statistician, where they analyzed Medicare claims and detected statistical outliers and variations in claim submissions. Cathy also evaluated provider medical procedure utilization rates and recommended alternative statistical methods to detect medical fraud.

Afterward, they worked at the University of Delaware and Goldey-Beacom College as an Instructor, teaching various courses. Cathy also served as an Instructor at the University of Delaware in 2005 and the University of Delaware in 2009, respectively.

In 2008, Cathy joined The Family Court of Delaware as a Project Coordinator/Data Analyst, where they negotiated and established a multi-year contract to design and implement a statewide data collection system. Cathy guided a team to build a web-based database to collect and analyze court data, establishing Delaware as a leader in federal data collection and reporting.

Most recently, Cathy has been working at EmployBridge since 2013, holding multiple roles including Senior Analyst, Manager - Growth and Marketing, Franchise, and currently, Director of Finance. In their current role, they serve as the Finance Business Partner for three divisions, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and strategy for a combined $750M in annual revenue.

Cathy Richard completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with an Economics Minor at the University of Delaware from 1987 to 1991. Cathy then pursued a Master's degree in Statistics at Virginia Tech from 1991 to 1992.
