Brian Hake has extensive experience in the field of data engineering and application development. Brian started their career in 1989 as a Developer at Cook Composites and Polymers. Brian then worked as a Project Manager and Developer at Mid American Health Network (Healthnet) from 1992 to 1995. Brian later became an Independent Software Consultant at Cook Composites and Polymers and Helzberg Diamonds, respectively. In 2006, they joined Assurant Employee Benefits as the Manager of Application Development, where they managed a team and oversaw the development of ETL and reporting solutions. From 2015 to 2018, Brian worked at Sun Life Financial as an Enterprise Architect, responsible for defining architectural designs and assessing new technologies. Currently, since 2018, they hold the position of Director of Data Engineering at EMPLOYERS.
Brian Hake attended Fort Hays State University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Computer Information Systems.
