Matthew Hendricksen

Senior Vice President, Treasury & Investments at Employers

Matthew Hendricksen has a strong background in finance and investments. Matthew started their career as a Financial Representative Intern at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in 2000. From there, they worked as a Product Development Assistant at Jackson National Life before transitioning to a Business Reporting Analyst role at the same company. In 2003, they joined AIG SunAmerica as a GIC Operations/Treasury Analyst. In 2005, they joined AIG as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and Derivatives Trader, where they played a key role in the development and growth of the Matched Investment Program. In 2012, they moved to EMPLOYERS as the Senior Vice President of Treasury & Investments, overseeing a $2.8 billion investment portfolio. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Member Director on the Board of Directors at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. Throughout their career, Matthew has gained extensive experience in asset/liability management, portfolio analysis, and cash management.

Matthew Hendricksen attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they studied Business with a focus on Finance. Matthew completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance and Information Systems, from the University's Leeds School of Business.
