Vicky Mayen, FCAS, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Vicky began their career as a Program Director at UNDP in 2001 and then transitioned to Towers Watson as an Associate Actuary in 2005. Vicky subsequently joined NCCI, where they held various actuarial positions, including Associate Actuary, Manager and Actuary, and Director and Actuary from 2009 to 2021. During their time at NCCI, they gained extensive experience in actuarial analysis and management. In 2017, Vicky served as an Interviewer Volunteer for the Yale Alumni Association. Most recently, they joined EMPLOYERS in 2021 as the VP Reserving. Additionally, Vicky has demonstrated leadership skills by serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse, Inc. starting in April 2021 and previously as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors from April 2018 to April 2021. Vicky Mayen, FCAS, has an extensive education history in various fields. Vicky started their educational journey in 1996 at Yale University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2000, Vicky obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Miami in 2004.

In recent years, Vicky has shown a keen interest in data science and analytics. In 2020, they enrolled in the Georgia Institute of Technology's Data Science MicroMasters program, specializing in Business Analytics. This program gave their an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and skills in the field.

To further enhance their expertise in data science, Vicky has actively pursued higher education. Vicky is currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Data Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which began in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2023. This program will provide their with advanced knowledge and practical experience in the field of data science.

In addition to their academic achievements, Vicky has obtained several professional certifications. In 2008, they became an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), indicating their expertise in the field of actuarial science. Vicky further solidified their actuarial credentials by obtaining the prestigious designation of Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) in 2014.

Vicky's commitment to professional development is evident through their pursuit of additional certifications. In 2019, they obtained the Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA) certification from The Institutes, demonstrating their knowledge and skills in the rapidly evolving field of insurance data analytics. Furthermore, in 2021, Vicky acquired the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from NCCI, underscoring their expertise in process improvement methodologies.
