Connor Sweeney

Connor Sweeney has over 10 years of work experience in the technology industry. Connor is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Empora Title, where they started in May 2023. Prior to that, Connor worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Provi from March 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining Provi, Connor had several roles at Root Inc., including Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Software Engineer. Connor worked at Root Inc. from September 2018 to March 2022.

Connor's career began at Pillar Technology in December 2015, where they worked as a Software Journeyman for nearly three years. During their time at Pillar Technology, they gained experience in various technologies and methodologies, including TDD, Pair Programming, application development with Svelte, Express, Node, C#, TypeScript, and CI/CD using Docker, Jenkins, Groovy, and Bash. Connor also worked with Spark, Hadoop, Java, and Ruby for data transformation.

Prior to joining Pillar Technology, Connor worked as an Associate Software Developer at JPMorgan Chase from July 2012 to December 2015.

Connor started their career in the technology industry as an Information Technology Customer Service Representative/Tech Guru at Ohio University from August 2008 to June 2012. Connor also briefly worked as an Information Systems Technician/Desktop Support at Fairmont State University in 2008.

Connor Sweeney completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ohio University, where they attended from 2008 to 2012.
