Payson Maydew

Payson Maydew, MBA, M.Ed, currently serves as the Assistant Track and Field Coach and Visiting Instructor of Tax/Accounting at Emporia State University while also holding the position of Assistant Director of Development - Athletics at Deloitte. Maydew has extensive experience in tax consulting, having previously worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at Deloitte and as a Tax Consultant specializing in multistate services. Maydew's educational credentials include a Doctorate of Business Administration in Accounting from Penn State University, a Master of Education in Teaching, and an MBA in Accounting from Emporia State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Leadership roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the Emporia State Federal Credit Union and the Logan Community Foundation, as well as managing various positions at College Works Painting that involved financial analysis, recruitment, and operational management.
