Lucy Methven currently serves as an Onboarding Coordinator at Empower Brands since August 2023. Prior to this role, Lucy was a third-grade teacher at Newton Public Schools from June 2016 to August 2023. Lucy's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Applied Developmental and Educational Psychology from Boston College Lynch School (2015-2016) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Boston College (2012-2015). Additionally, Lucy has experience as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Boston College, where responsibilities included coding and analyzing qualitative data as well as conducting interviews for the Connector Study. Earlier teaching experience includes student teaching positions at Mason-Rice Elementary School, Winship Elementary School, and Saint Columbkille Partnership School.
