Jake Richardson

Jake Richardson is an experienced educator with a background in social studies and science instruction across various grade levels. Since July 2014, Jake has served as both a high school social studies teacher and a middle school science teacher at EMPOWER College Prep. Prior to this role, Jake taught 8th grade science at Pueble Del Sol Elementary School from August 2013 to June 2014 and worked as a middle school science teacher at ACCLAIM Academy from August 2011 to July 2013. Jake began the career in education as a 2011 Corps Member with Teach for America, following a role as a project manager at VEBA Service Group from June 2009 to June 2011. Academically, Jake holds a Teaching Certificate in Education from Rio Salado College (2011-2013) and a degree in Economics from the University of Arizona (2005-2009).
