Sharon Huynh

Sharon Huynh is a qualified Speech Pathologist with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently employed at Empower Healthcare since April 2023, Sharon has previously worked at We Do Health and Ignite Healthcare, specializing in assessments and interventions for patients with dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, and cognitive communication difficulties. Prior to their speech pathology roles, Sharon operated as a Support Worker, providing assistance to Autistic children and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Australian Catholic University and additional studies in health services and arts from La Trobe University and Monash University. Sharon's professional practice emphasizes evidence-based assessment, patient education, and the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies.
